Meet the CU Realty Board of Directors

The CU Realty Board—led by CU Realty CEO and Co-Founder, Mike Corn—is comprised of credit union industry veterans and thought leaders who provide strategic guidance and counsel to CU Realty.

Mike Corn

CU Realty Services, CEO and Co-Founder
Mr. Corn is an entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in credit union and real estate related ventures as well as technology start-ups. His real estate ventures include golf course and residential real estate development. Prior to co-founding CU Realty in 2001, he was the founder and president of MC2, a Phoenix-based firm delivering high-level IT design, development, project management and outsourcing solutions to Fortune 1000 companies such as American Express, Motorola, Allied Signal, Intel and Wells Fargo. MC2 was sold to Compuware in 1997. He received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1973. Mr. Corn is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Arizona.

Craig Davis

CU Realty Services, Broker and Co-Founder
Mr. Davis is an experienced Real Estate Entrepreneur and Investor. Prior to co-founding CU Realty, as Founder and FINOP, he was responsible for managing the organization, marketing and administration of GRH Securities, Inc., an NASD Broker/Dealer. GRH syndicated numerous Real Estate Limited Partnerships and acted as the private placement agent for Embassy Suites, which raised over $150,000,000 from Investors. Mr. Davis has syndicated various land acquisitions, restaurants and golf courses. He began his career in real estate in 1974, listing and selling homes in the Phoenix area and obtained his State of Arizona Broker's License in 1979. In addition, he currently holds Brokers licenses in the states of Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, Ohio and Virginia. 

Timothy J. Mislansky

Wright-Patt Credit Union, Senior Vice President / Chief Lending Officer myCUmortgage, LLC., President
Mr. Mislansky is the Senior Vice President of Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc., which earned the 2006 Prime Alliance Aggregator of the Year Award from Fannie Mae, and 2006 Best Surging Market Strategy Award from Prime Alliance. Mr. Mislansky is also Founder and President of WPCU’s wholly-owned CUSO, myCUmortgage, LLC, which was named Prime Alliance’s 2008 and 2010 CUSO of the year. myCUmortgage serves the mortgage needs of nearly 140 credit unions across the country with loan fundings of nearly $1 billion per year. Mr. Mislansky serves as Treasurer for the Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, and is a member of the Home Ownership Center of Greater Dayton’s Advisory Board. Mr. Mislansky holds bachelor degrees in Accountancy and in Finance from Miami University in Oxford , Ohio. 

Herb Behrens

Baxter Credit Union, Vice President Mortgage Lending
Mr. Behrens is responsible for first mortgage product strategy and execution and has worked at BCU since 1999. To date, BCU has a servicing and held mortgage portfolio in excess of $1.6 billion and is consistently a top 50 credit union mortgage lender.Previously, Herb was responsible for the internal underwriting, production, and new business development at Great Northern Mortgage primarily serving credit unions and banks. Additionally, Mr. Behren’s work experience included responsibility for residential mortgages for a five state region for Commonwealth Mortgage Assurance Company. Herb is an active member of Fannie Mae’s Central Region Customer Advisory Board and Implementation Advisory Group. He is a member of the Prime Alliance Advisory Board and a participating member of the American Credit Union Mortgage Association and the CUNA Lending Council. He received a B.A. in Finance with majors in both Finance and Economics from Illinois State University.

Tina Powers

CU Realty Services, COO
Mrs. Powers is an accomplished real estate professional with over 25 years of experience in residential real estate, including sales, management and the development/implementation of process improvements and systems. Prior to joining CU Realty as a start-up in 2001, she managed the top sales team at RE/MAX Integrity Realtors, responsible for training, motivation, business strategy, process improvements, and systems implementation. In her role at CU Realty, Mrs. Powers has been instrumental in helping credit unions implement proven best practices and strategies to gain a larger share of their mortgage market. She obtained her Arizona real estate license in 1991 and began her real estate career with Century 21. She is also a licensed Broker in the state of California.

Jean Theis

Andigo Credit Union, Executive Vice President/COO
Jean is the Executive Vice President/COO of Andigo Credit Union, a nearly $900 million credit union in Schaumburg, IL (formerly Motorola Employees Credit Union). Prior to being EVP/COO, she held the roles of Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Marketing since she joined the organization in 2000. Before moving to Illinois, she worked for both Michigan State University Federal Credit Union and American 1 Federal Credit Union in Michigan. Jean, a CUNA Certified Credit Union Executive, is a graduate of Central Michigan University and earned her MBA from Western Michigan University.
