Wings Financial Credit Union Partners with CU Realty Services to Offer Members HomeAdvantage™ – a Turnkey Real Estate Program
Features include online property listings, network of qualified Realtors and Cash Reward on closing
Scottsdale, Ariz. Mar. 5, 2015 – Wings Financial Credit Union has partnered with CU Realty Services to give its members access to the real estate CUSO’s HomeAdvantage program. The registration-based program provides credit union members with the tools and support they need to make informed decisions and save money when buying or selling a home.
“Implementing the HomeAdvantage program has provided many benefits to our members including a realtor referral network, home search tools and a cash-back Cash Reward,” said Roxy Johnson, VP Real Estate, for Wings Financial CU. “A network of trusted realtors to assist our members in the home buying and selling process is something that Wings saw as a great opportunity.”
The $4 billion, Apple Valley, Minn.-based credit union began offering HomeAdvantage last year in November and, according to Johnson, interest is steadily growing.
“Today, most people start their real estate transactions on the Internet looking through property listings,” said Mike Corn, President/CEO of CU Realty Services. “By offering access to these same listings as well as referrals to preferred Realtors, credit unions have a huge opportunity to identify which of their members are in the market to buy a home, and engage with them much earlier before they are ready to talk about mortgages.”
In addition to online property listings, neighborhood demographics, and sales history, members of Wings Financial CU can earn a Cash Reward at closing when they use one of the preferred Realtors in the HomeAdvantage program. On average, that Cash Reward amounts to $1,500 per transaction.
Currently, CU Realty Services works with hundreds of credit unions and mortgage CUSOs in 22 states. To learn more, visit www.curealty.com.
